Teaches piano along with general outline of music

Lessons are shaped and negotiated to suit the particular student and attract people from various backgrounds in an age range of 70 or more years. Minimum start age is usually about 6 years but again depends on the individual.

20 years teaching experience and a lifetime at the piano, my usual approach to a student's first lesson is to begin by finding out where they are currently at and what they have learned so far. Most are pleasantly surprised when they realise that they know much more than they thought they did about music or about the piano.

Lessons last up to one hour and are reasonably priced (even if one chooses to use only 40 or 45 minutes of the time). Your first lesson will be £15 wioth subsequent lessons being £60 for four (same rate on a block payment basis) or £18 per lesson.
